Architecture in dialogue with its context

Valens Residence is a luxury villa conceived as a contemporary interpretation of its local architectural context. The design is based on calm, clearly articulated volumes, balanced proportions and a restrained architectural expression, establishing a strong relationship with the surrounding landscape. The building is carefully integrated into its setting, respecting the scale and character of the site while asserting a distinct contemporary identity.

Material and spatial clarity

The architectural character of the villa is defined by a combination of natural materials – primarily stone and wood – and large glazed surfaces. Solid, more enclosed facade elements are contrasted with transparent zones that open the interior towards the exterior. Light, shadow and material texture play a central role in shaping both the architecture and the interior atmosphere.

Continuity between interior and exterior

The spatial organization is based on an open-plan layout and clear visual axes towards the landscape. Interior and exterior spaces are conceived as a continuous whole, seamlessly complementing one another. Terraces, the swimming pool and outdoor living areas function as natural extensions of the interior, while large glass openings dissolve the boundary between inside and outside.

Interior as an extension of architecture

The interior design directly derives from the architectural concept of the house. The spaces are calm and refined, with a strong emphasis on material quality, precise detailing and a comfortable living atmosphere. Living areas are organized as an open, flowing sequence of spaces, while private zones are conceived as intimate and tranquil environments. Luxury is expressed subtly, through proportion, materiality and carefully considered spatial relationships.
