Within Petram Resort & Residences, located in Savudrija, the apartments are conceived as spaces of long–term comfort and understated luxury. The interiors follow the core architectural philosophy of the development – establishing a balance between contemporary spatial organization, natural materiality, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. These interiors do not impose themselves; rather, they provide a refined framework for living – calm, functional, and consistent with the overall identity of the resort.

Spatial concept and organization

The apartments are designed according to the principle of an open–plan layout with a clear functional structure. The living zone – combining lounge, dining, and kitchen areas – is conceived as a continuous space, free of unnecessary visual barriers. This organization enables fluid circulation, flexibility of use, and optimal access to natural daylight. Private areas, including bedrooms and bathrooms, are positioned to ensure acoustic and visual privacy while maintaining a logical relationship with the main living space. Room proportions are carefully calibrated to create a sense of generosity without exaggerating volume.

Material and design expression

The material palette is based on neutral tones, natural textures, and subtle transitions between light and shadow. Warm-toned wooden flooring, light wall finishes, and integrated cabinetry define the overall aesthetic. The interior design is characterized by restraint and precision in detailing. Built-in elements minimize visual clutter, while the lighting concept – combining ambient and task illumination – accentuates architectural lines and spatial depth. Large glazed openings ensure continuous visual engagement with the landscape while allowing abundant natural light to permeate the interior throughout the day.

The living area as the spatial core

The central feature of each apartment is the integrated living space. Kitchens are designed as functional and discreetly incorporated units, emphasizing ergonomics and rational space planning. The dining area naturally mediates between the kitchen and lounge, forming a coherent sequence of daily activities within a unified spatial volume. The living room is articulated as a zone of relaxation, where the balance between furniture placement and open space reinforces a sense of lightness and spatial clarity.

Private zones and comfort

Bedrooms are conceived as calm, introspective environments. A neutral color palette, controlled lighting, and carefully selected textiles contribute to a restful atmosphere. Bathrooms follow a contemporary design language defined by clean lines and durable materials suited to long-term use. The arrangement of sanitary elements prioritizes ergonomic logic and ease of maintenance.

Interior-exterior relationship

One of the defining qualities of the apartments is their direct connection to terraces or balconies. These outdoor spaces function as natural extensions of the living area, allowing residents to inhabit both interior and exterior realms seamlessly. The transparency of the façade openings dissolves the boundary between inside and outside, while views toward the sea or landscaped surroundings expand the spatial perception of the apartments. This approach aligns fully with the resort’s architectural philosophy – a continuous dialogue between built form and nature.
