The interior design project for the MHP Group office in Zagreb, located within the City Island Buzin business complex, encompassed the complete design of a 1.800 m² office space. The objective was to create a contemporary, functional, and representative working environment that reflects the company’s international presence and professional standards.
Concept and corporate identity
A comprehensive interior concept was developed in alignment with MHP Group’s corporate identity, emphasizing clean lines, spatial clarity, and materials that contribute to a pleasant and productive workplace atmosphere. The design communicates stability and modernity while supporting the company’s corporate culture and team dynamics.
Spatial organization and materiality
The layout includes expansive open-plan work areas, glazed meeting rooms, two representative reception areas, lounge spaces for breaks and informal employee gatherings, and a three-part multimedia hall adaptable for larger meetings and presentations. Special attention was given to the use of wood, natural stone, and neutral tones, achieving a balance between business rationality and a comfortable ambiance. Transparent glass partitions allow natural light to penetrate deep into the floor plan while maintaining visual connectivity. Carefully planned acoustics ensure functionality within large open workspaces. Most furniture and joinery elements were custom-designed and produced to align precisely with the project concept and the client’s specific operational needs.
Project management and execution
In addition to developing the design concept, the team managed contract negotiations, prepared tender documentation, supervised construction works, and coordinated all project participants. This integrated approach ensured quality control, adherence to deadlines, and budget management throughout all phases of realization. The result is a high-quality corporate interior that provides optimal working conditions, flexibility for future needs, and strong representative value — culminating in a smooth and successfully organized move-in of users into the new office space.
